The 2000 Joint Annual Meeting of the Michigan Section of the Mathematical Association of America and MichMATYC, the Michigan Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges, will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 5-6, 2000, at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant.
Most activities will take place in Dow Hall. Registration will be in the first floor lobby of Dow Hall from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, May 5, and from 8:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, May 6. At the end of the formal program, there will be a Building Bridges workshop from 2:15 to 4:15 Saturday afternoon. The noon luncheons on Friday and Saturday and the AWM-WAM breakfast will be at the Bovee University Center in the Maroon, Gold, and Chippewa Rooms. The Annual Banquet on Friday evening will be held in the Comfort Inn Conference Center at the south edge of CMU's campus.
Advance reservations are required for all scheduled meals. Print out this Registration Form or use the one included in your newsletter. It should be mailed in time to reach the Department of Mathematics no later than Friday, April 21, 2000. Complimentary refreshments will be available in Dow Hall near the book and computer exhibits.
A Mount Pleasant area map can be found on the outside cover of this program. Reservations should be made directly with the hotels. The closing dates for reservations are April 4 for the Comfort Inn and April 15 for the Hampton Inn and Super 8.
