The 2002 Joint Annual Meeting of the Michigan Section of the Mathematical Association of America and MichMATYC, the Michigan Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges, will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 10-11, 2002, at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield.

Most activities will take place in LTU's new University Technology and Learning Center. Registration will be in the first floor foyer of UTLC from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Friday, May 10, and from 8:30am to 11:00am on Saturday, May 11. The noon luncheons on Friday and Saturday will be held in the UTLC gallery near the registration desk. The Annual Banquet on Friday evening will be held in Café Lawrence in LTU's Buell Building, near the UTLC.

Advance registrations are required for all scheduled meals. The Registration Form is on page 16 of the printed program. The online form may also be used. It should be mailed in time to reach the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at LTU no later than Friday, April 26, 2002. Complimentary refreshments will be available in the UTLC foyer near the book and computer exhibits.

Reservations should be made directly with the hotels; see page 14 of the printed program or the lodging page. The closing dates for reservations are May 1 for the Westin Hotel, and April 26 for the Hampton Inn, Marriott, and Days Inn.
