Directions:
To reach Oakland University, take Exit 79 from I-75, about 30 miles north of Detroit. Proceed east on University Drive about a mile to the entrance to the university at Squirrel Road. All events will take place in Dodge Hall, the Oakland Center, and Meadow Brook Hall, which are all shown on the map. Parking is open and free. Dodge Hall and the Oakland Center are about four minutes apart on foot, but Meadow Brook Hall is about a mile away.
Hotel Accommodations
The hotels listed below are all near the intersection of University Drive (Exit 79 from I-75) and Opdyke Road, a few hundred yards west of the freeway. A map, which includes hotel locations by number, is shown on the back cover. To get the conference rate at the listed hotels, reserve by April 16 and indicate the code MAA2004. Rates do not include a 13% tax. In some cases, you may find cheaper rates on the Internet or elsewhere. Other choices are also available in this area.
