Michigan Autumn Take-Home Challenge
The Michigan Autumn Take-Home Challenge (MATH), held each fall, is a competition for teams of up to three students. Teams work together for three hours on a set of 10 problems. Teams do their work at their home institution and mail in their solutions.
Lower Michigan Mathematics Competition
The Lower Michigan Mathematics Competition, held each spring, is also a competition for teams of up to three students, but is held at a single site. The site varies from year to year. The 2007 LMMC was hosted by Calvin College and was won by a team from Albion College.

There is a nationwide contest in modeling, the Mathematical Contest in Modeling, held in January or February of each year. This is aAnother team competition. Teams of up to three work for a weekend to solve a challenging modeling problem. |
