Michigan Undergraduate Mathematics Conference (MUMC)
The premier undergraduate event each year is the Michigan Undergraduate Mathematics Conference (MUMC). Hosted each fall at a Michigan college or university, this conference provides a forum for students to present their research or other topics of mathematical interest. The conference also includes a keynote address and opportunities to find out about graduate school and career options available to mathematics majors. Follow the links below for more information.
The 2007 MUMC was held at Michigan State University on October 27 and 28. Departments interested in hosting a future MUMC should contact John Clifford, the Michigan Section Student Activities Coordinator.
Michigan Section Meeting
Undergraduates should also not forget that there is a place for them at the Annual Meeting of the Michigan Section of the Mathematical Association of America. Undergraduates are invited to attend and to give presentations. Information about the next Section Meeting, to be held at Grand Valley State University on May 2 and 3, 2008, will be available here. |
